Our primary goal is to assist horses and humans in smooth transition. Many of our horses just hit a hard place in life with injuries that limited their competitive abilities, some “aged out” of their discipline. I believe this is the beginning of the “slaughter“ pipeline that few people recognize. What do you do with these horses? They are still useful! Their lives have purpose!
We retire or provide sanctuary for those who aren’t adopted to forever homes, a questionable notion for horses who typically have more than 7 home in their lifetime. We do search for new adoptive families for some of our horses.
We just wanted to share some transition and success photos here.
